Two Piece GRP AB Air Gap CAT 5 Cold Water Storage Tanks

Our two-piece CAT 5, AB air gap cold water storage tanks are constructed from GRP and are manufactured from WRAS-approved materials. Two-piece water storage tanks are ideal when the access to the tank or plant room is restricted and a one-piece tank will not fit through the opening. All two-piece tanks are supplied as a self-assembly kit complete with fixings and Butyl sealant which is WRAS approved. With a range of tank capacities starting from 272 litres, we have a two-piece tank to suit most applications.

CAT 5 or Type AB Airgap tanks provide backflow protection prevention and should be used where a Fluid represents a serious health hazard because of the concentration of pathogenic organisms, radioactive or very toxic substances. This also includes any fluid which contains:

• Faecal material or other human waste
• Butchery or other animal waste
• Pathogens from any other source.  

All of our two-piece insulated tanks are not only insulated but supplied as a kit complete with a sealed lid and screened air inlet vent. Being WRAS-approved our two-piece tanks are suitable for both potable and non-potable water storage applications.
