Cold Water Tanks For Sale
GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic, or Fibre Glass) cold water tanks are exceptionally lightweight, robust and do not rust or corrode, helping to ensure a long tank lifespan. These tanks are also easy-to-clean and hygenic, making them suitable for contact with potable water. The fact that these GRP Cold Water Storage Tanks are made from WRAS approved materials gives you more peace of mind for using them with potable (drinking) water.
These tanks are available as one piece, two piece and sectional. There are also options for AB Airgap Break Tanks (CAT5).

How to tell if my Tank is suitable for drinking water?
If the product description mentions 'WRAS Approved', then the tank will be suited to store drinking (potable) water. If you're tank is approved for potable water but your still unsure, refer to this water drinking checklist:
- Is water clear? If not, do not drink it.
- Does water smell unusual? If so, do not drink it.
- Does water taste funny? If so, do not drink it.
If you are experiencing any trouble with the above it's reccomended to contact your tank manufacturer.
Do GRP Water Storage Tanks require maintainance?
It's essential to clean your Cold Water Storage Tank to make sure the stored water is clean and safe to drink. It's reccomended to clean your tank at least once per year. If not cleaned regularly, these tanks can often accumulate algae, bacteria and silt.
How to clean my GRP Water Tank
- Drain all water stored within the tank. Make sure to check all components.
- Clean all surfaces within the tank with fresh, safe water. Ensure that you are using non-metal tools
- Lastly, remove all visable debris from the inside of the tank.
