Fire Resistant Bunded Heating Oil Tanks
Fire-resistant heating oil tanks are Local Authority Building Control registered products which enable the fire-resistant tank to be located closer to recognised fire hazards than a conventional oil storage tank. Fire-resistant tanks often prevent the need to install costly and often unsightly fire screen walls.
We supply fire-resistant tanks manufactured by TUFFA.
TUFFA's Firepro tanks comprise of a bunded tank with a fire retardant material surrounding the inner tank. These tanks are available with either 30 (for domestic) or 60 (for commercial) minutes of fire resistance. TUFFA offer a standard range of both steel and plastic fire-resistant tanks.
If you are considering using a FirePro tank, the lead time is greater as they are manufactured to order. For the plastic versions please allow 3 - 5 weeks or for one of the steel options, please allow up to 5 - 6 weeks for delivery of these products.
