Description
The BIOROCK Monoblock-2 is a below-ground non-electric sewage treatment plant. Being powerless, this makes it ideal for off-grid applications in remote locations such as Camping, Glamping and Shepherds' Huts. Being non-electric also helps with those Green Credentials as well as reducing the risk of noise pollution from traditional electric air blowers. The Monoblock 2 is suitable for up to 6 persons (6PE) in a full-time situation or up to 4 bed house.
Benefits of the BIOROCK Monoblock:
- No electricity required
- No moving parts or air compressors
- Low running costs
- Minimal maintenance
- Silent operation
- Capable of coping with low flows and periods of absence
- 25-year warranty on the tank and 5 years on the media
- Eco-friendly technology
- CE Marked
- Tested to EN 12566-3 and SR 66
How it works in three easy steps:
- The Primary Tank - Clarifies the raw sewage, removing fats, grease, and oils. The sewage water then passes through the effluent filter and discharges into the BIOROCK Reactor.
- Bioreactor Process - The Bioreactor further purifies the pretreated wastewater through a biological process, naturally treating the wastewater. The BIOROCK media is a very efficient carrier material for bacteria.
- Discharge - Depending upon the ground type, effluent will be discharged by gravity or by a pump (pumps require an electricity supply)
