Description

This Atlantis PURATANK washdown separator is ideal for commercial car wash use and removes dirty water from a car wash or other washbay facility. The capacity of this tank makes it suitable for use with gantry/truck wash systems and quarry wheel washes.

The separator is single stage and removes any solids like silt before they enter the foul drain.

All waste removed during servicing of the separator should be disposed of under duty of care regulations by a registered waste carrier to a suitably licensed facility.

Options:

Choose from the following options in the drop down menu:

PURATANK PIPEWORK SIZE - 110mm (standard) or 160mm

PURATANK LID - Choose from either the pedestrian duty lockable cover or the light vehicle cover

PURATANK TELESCOPIC NECK - Allows the invert depth of the tank to be increased to between 400 and 750mm. The riser can easily be trimmed using a hand saw.

PURATANK ALARM - Choose from either silt, hydrocarbon or combined. All alarms are 240v. Warns that the tank needs maintenance.

Installation:

Where the tank installation is above the water table, these tanks can be installed using a granular / pea shingle surround and 300mm of cover (please see the installation overview in the brochure download). Where high water tables exist it is recommended that a concrete surround is used with a minimum 150mm of cover. If installed in trafficked areas, a specially designed reinforced concrete cover slab must be installed.
