Calona silage tanks are specifically designed for the below-ground storage of silage run off waste. The Calona silage tanks have a 25 year manufacturers warranty on the shell of the tank and are manufactured with a liner which prevents the silage waste from damaging the shell of the tank. Silage is corrosive and cannot be stored in a standard Cesspool as it causes damage to the GRP shell of the tank.
Tanks in this range are available from 1000 to 84000 litres and are supplied with a pedestrian duty lid, 1.0m extension necks and 160mm pipe work connection.
