Nicholson Plastics manufacture a large range of Category 5 Water Storage Tanks (also known as CAT 5). Category 5 Water Storage Tanks are also known as Type AB Airgap break tanks. CAT 5 or Type AB Airgap tanks provide backflow protection prevention and should be used where a Fluid represents a serious health hazard because of the concentration of pathogenic organisms, radioactive or very toxic substances. This also includes any fluid which contains:
- Faecal material or other human waste
- Butchery or other animal waste
- Pathogens from any other source.
With a range of tank capacities starting from 43 litres, Nicholson Plastics has a tank to suit most applications.
