Harlequin CAP GRP 40 Person Shallow Dig Sewage Treatment Plant |40PE
Product Code: CGRP-40 Super-Sub 40
Description
The Harlequin CAP GRP 40 Population Sewage Treatment Plant is part of the Harlequin Super Sub range - Ultra Shallow Dig Sewage Treatment Plants available in capacities from 25 to 60PE.
Manufactured from GRP and using proven CAP technology, these treatment plants have an overall height of only 1810mm, making them ideal for challenging ground conditions such as stone or rock where deeper excavation is not possible or is prohibitively costly. The reduced dig (compared with conventional treatment plants) of the Super Sub Ultra Shallow Dig also benefits installation in areas with a high water table.
With a shallow installation in mind, the standard pipework inlet/invert is only 500mm below ground. If a deeper inlet is required, this tank can be ordered with one of the factory-fitted riser options, which can increase the invert to 750 or 1000mm.
This tank is available with either an internal or external blower option and can be installed inside driveways, subject to a structural slab and upgrading of the lid (this must be designed by a structural engineer to suit site conditions and is the Customer's responsibility).
Choosing the right sewage treatment plant is important. In the case of a property alteration or extension, Building Control will strongly advise for a plant suitable for handling the increased flows and loads of the new development.

Options:
OUTLET: Gravity is suitable when the final effluent from the treatment plant can run downhill to discharge to a drainage field or watercourse. Pumped outlets are used when there is insufficient fall for a gravity discharge or if the discharge point is higher than the treatment plant.
INVERT / INLET: This is the depth from ground level that the inlet pipe from the property enters the sewage treatment plant. This depth is to the bottom of the plant's inlet pipe, and a deeper inlet means the tank will be deeper in the ground and the tank neck will be extended. The maximum inlet depth is 1500mm and is only available as factory fit.
AIR BLOWER: The CAP Super Sub can be specified with either an internal or external air blower. The internal air blower sits inside the neck of the tank, whilst the external air blower comes with a housing and 10m air hose, allowing the blower to be sited at ground level (or elevated if needed). Pumped outlets are supplied with external housings as standard to protect the air blower from flooding in the event of a pump blockage or failure.
