What should I do if my oil tank float gauge is not working or stuck?
If your oil tank float gauge is stuck or not working correctly, it’s often due to a jammed float, an obstructed arm mechanism, or a buildup of sludge or debris inside the tank. Start by visually inspecting the gauge. Open the tank lid and check if the float moves freely and isn’t caught on the tank wall or any internal components.
