Septic Tanks For Sale
A septic tank is an underground sewage treatment system that is commonly used to treat wastewater and store any soild waste. These tanks tend to be watertight containers made of concrete, fiberglass, or plastic that receive and treats household wastewater.
All of our septic systems at Tanks For Everything are manufactured to current standards and follow water quality codes of practice. You will need to register with the Environmental Protection Agency if your property would like to use a septic system.
We offer a variety of price points and materials, and advise our customers about the right septic tank to use so that they buy the best product for their requirements.
We also offer supporting products such as sewage treatment plants and additional products your systems or property owners require.
Please be aware that you should not discharge the waste from the tank into a watercourse such as a stream, ditch or river. If you plan to discharge into a watercourse you should install a sewage treatment plant.

Septic Tank Maintenance
Here at Tanks for Everything we provide you with the means to safely store waste, allowing the natural break down of any solids that are produced, allowing you to treat the remaining effluent so that it is safe to discharge directly into the ground via a drainage field.
We provide products that are of the highest quality, at an affordable cost – all of which comply with binding rules outlined by the environment agency, making tank maintenance simple. Our range of tanks contains models to suit different requirements and budgets.
Your tank needs to be emptied regularly to ensure that there is no build-up of solid waste that could block the system. There are a number of factors that impact how frequent this needs to be, such as the size of your tank and how many people are using it.
A smaller system will need to be emptied more frequently than a large one, as well as a tank that is being used by a greater number of people. For more information on how frequent this needs to be, please contact a wastewater company.
What Is A Septic Tank?
A septic tank consists of an underground chamber that is often made of concrete, fibreglass or plastic. Domestic wastewater from your toilets, sinks, showers and baths (grey water) drain into the tank chamber for basic separation.
If you are not connected to mains drainage you need to have an effective tank in place.
How Do Septic Tanks Work?
Waste water flows into the tank, which then separates into three levels: scum, middle layer and sludge. Bacteria inside the tank then breaks down solid waste, which further separates each of these 3 layers and helps them to drain.
Many of these tanks also have grease traps to separate grease from the rest of the waste.
