These Cesspools are designed in accordance with BS4994 / BSEN976 for the underground storage of rainwater, sewage and grey water. Cesspools do not have an outlet so everything which is stored in them needs to be pumped out. There is an option of a high-level alarm, which can be set to warn you that the tank needs emptying. This cesspool has a tank warranty of 25 years and a design life of 50 years.

If storing Silage, Elsan (chemical toilet waste) or Animal waste (from Kennels, etc.), it is important to use a cesspool with a liner as these wastes can damage the normal structure of the tank and cause it to leak; this also invalidates the warranty. For more aggressive wastes, the cesspool can be chemically lined (VL liner); please get in touch with us for suitability.

This tank can be installed in granular or concrete backfill, depending upon ground conditions. If the water table (during any part of the year) rises above the proposed base of the tank, it should be installed in concrete. Failure to do so will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.

FREE delivery of this Marsh product includes the whole UK mainland and is subject to suitable access for a large vehicle for goods. The customer's responsible for providing suitable mechanical offloading facilities (e.g. JCB excavator or loader) to offload this tank.
